We are expressly dedicated to maintaining and improving the general welfare of senior citizens as it relates to their housing, health, food security, safety, and overall quality of life.
As a service organization, the River Towers Tenants Council is more than 30 years old. Over its many years of distinguished service, the Council has sponsored countless events and activities for residents of the Towers, including casino excursions, bus trips and tours, “Get Out the Vote” support and transportation, Super Bowl parties, picnics, and much, much more. The Council has been privileged with great leaders over the years, including Presidents “Doc” Holbrook, Thelma Best, and Nancy Burse. Our current president, Mr. Kenneth Kabaka Reynolds, is a U.S. Army veteran who works closely with Best 4 Vets, Forgotten Harvest, and other community organizations. Under Mr. Reynolds’s administration, in January 2025, the Council was officially organized as a Michigan non-profit organization.
